Antanetibe Talatamaty is a commune in Madagascar. It belongs to the district of Ambatondrazaka, which is a part of the Alaotra-Mangoro Region. The estimated population of the commune in 2001 was 15,000. Primary and junior level education are available in town. The majority of the population of the commune are farmers. Rice is the most important crop, but bananas, cassava and sweet potatoes are also cultivated. The area around Antanetibe Talatamaty is covered with forests and some of the population engages in forestry and logging. There are also some inhabitants involved in raising livestock.
